When a fellow camera operator offered us the opportunity to add the classic Red ONE MX to our rental lineup, we didn’t have to think twice. The Red ONE MX is more than just a camera; it’s a piece of cinematic history, a tool that has captured some of the most iconic images in modern filmmaking.

Introduced as an upgrade to the original Red One, the Red ONE MX continued to revolutionize the industry with its improved low-light performance and enhanced dynamic range. It quickly became the go-to choice for filmmakers who wanted to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, helping to shape the future of digital cinema as we know it.

Our guiding principle is simple: if something can take pictures, it should be doing so. And the Red ONE MX? It was born to do just that. With its groundbreaking 4.5K resolution, improved dynamic range, and Redcode RAW format, the Red ONE MX isn’t just a camera—it’s a legend.

At the moment, we have the camera fitted with an M42 mount, but we’re actively working on making more mount options available. Of course, we’re always open to any suggestions you may have.
